Amazing plant

This is a lovely plant that lives in the butterfly house in the Detroit Zoo. I love the geometric type of shape they really remind me of origami. I have had these photos for a while now and they really need to become something.

Look at how they blossom it is like a little alien pod coming out.

Pay it forward - giveaway

The first three people to leave a comment on my post will receive a surprise handmade gift from me. All you have to do to take part is to carry on the gift giving to three people. As soon as the comment is made, do a 'Pay it Forward' post on your blog, and carry on the giving. Of course you will need to request the address details of the first three people replying, so you can forward on their gift!!

I was one of the first three to comment on Troc, Broc and Recup's blog - so I should receive a little package from her. I am excited to do a little giveaway of my own and have been working on just the thing, just got to make 2 more!

Interview over on MICE

As a member of MICE - Michigan Indie Crafters of Etsy I volunteered to do some interviews with our members for the blog. The best part of this is I get to pick who I want to interview. I chose Kristin Perkins of kpglassjewelry1 for my first interview. Check out the interview here at Miceetsy. I am pretty pleased with how it looks.

Crocus in the snow

Just when it looked like things were warming up around here we got hit with a snowfall. It does make the crocus ring around my little tree look beautiful though.

Yellow Crocus poking out from under the snow.

A lovely line of verigated Purple and lilac crocus. Have I mentioned how much I love the Macro option on my camera.

I had to get my snow boots out again so I could get nice close up shots.
